We are just a few days away from Google’s annual October launch event “Made by Google”, where the company launches a lot of new Pixel devices. This year, the brand is expected to announce its upcoming flagship smartphones, smartwatches, and more on October 4. According to the official announcements, Google will unveil the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel Watch 2. Here are the details about what to expect from the Made by Google event.
Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro at Made by Google event
Google will host an event in New York City to introduce the Pixel 8 and Watch 2 series. Although we don’t know many details about the upcoming smartphones, the leaks revealed a lot of specs of the devices. According to the earlier leaks, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will come with several new features and improvements.
One of the best-expected features of the upcoming devices is the new “Actua” displays that are much brighter than the previous models. Also, the phones will have enhanced cameras, software, and several AI features. Additionally, the Pixel 8 series will be powered by the new Tensor G3 chipset.
Pixel Watch 2
Another expected device is the Pixel Watch 2. The upcoming smartwatch will be a successor to the Pixel Watch, and it will have a lot of new features, but the same design as its predecessor. The Pixel Watch 2 will likely have a new chipset, which offers a better battery life and a faster interface.
Pixel Buds Pro
The only additional hardware that is confirmed to come is a small update to Pixel Buds Pro. While teasing the event, Google displayed a new Porcelain color. We previously reported that a blue color was also on its way. The devices are expected to be on sale on October 12.
